Recommended sort order
This provides a mechanism to override and set the default order in which products are listed on the website. Products are allocated a number between 1 and 1000, with 500 as the default. The system will sort products according to this number when they are shown on the website. So to ensure the product comes in first place, you would set this to 1.
This also applies to listings further down the hierarchy. For example at level two, this sort order is also applied. By offering up to 1000 numbers, there is sufficient granularity to achieve a comprehensive control of the sort order for the category and sub-categories.
Google Analytics
Clicking on the Google Analytics icon offers two choices. Both will open in Google Analytics in a separate window (Note: you will need access to Google Analytics, set up separately, for these report links to work).
•Page views will open a new window showing the number of times people have viewed the Product Details Page for this product, across all sites, for the past 12 months.
•Performance will open a new window showing the number of purchases of the product, across all sites, for the past 12 months.
Note: Sales numbers in Google Analytics include VAT and exclude discounts, so should be taken as indicative. Full and accurate product performance reports are available from the Data Warehouse/BI function.
